PST Clima is pleased to announce the introduction of a new version of hydronic cassette units, the PS-CLI with special features that limit the spread of bacteria inside the unit and which meets the requirements of the VDI 6022 certification standard, thereby meeting current market trends, for which healthy air is increasingly a priority.
The growing focus on air sanitation in hospitals and surgeries, as well as in waiting rooms, nursing and retirement homes, offices and all places where the hygiene level must be high has led the Company to aim for new targets.
In order to respond to the demands of designers and installers, the focus has been on research into increasingly advanced materials to create innovative solutions that can offer a concrete result in terms of Health Safety, Reliability and Best Comfort.
Healthy air and Efficiency are the winning features of PST Clima cassette fan coil units
The intense activity of PST Clima’s R&D department has led to the production of cassette fan coils model PS-CLI, available in two sizes: 600×600 mm (PS050- PS094) and 1200×600 mm (PS100-154).
In addition to this new variant there is another one, the PS-CLP : the new version of the previous model, which represents the most efficient solution in terms of hygienic safety.
A product designed for environments in marine areas, chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories, offshore platforms and locations with special requirements.
PS-CLP not only offers the advantages of the hygienic version, but also provides a cataphoresis-treated heat exchanger that offers greater resistance and efficiency in corrosive environments, significantly reducing the proliferation of bacteria and the risk of coil oxidation.
Particular attention has been paid to the installation and maintenance methods of the new PST Clima hydronic cassette units, so as to ensure simple and quick operations with a consequent reduction in operating costs and to improve efficiency and safety during the cleaning and hygienic processes.
To maximise the sanitization effect PST Clima proposes the installation of a cold plasma ionization device available for all versions of fan coils in the PS range. This is a system which, by applying a specific voltage, converts the electrons of the atoms present in the particulate matter in the air into charged ions. As they pass through the ionisation tube, millions of positive and negative ions are formed in the air, which not only make the indoor air as “fresh air” but also actively solve indoor air pollution problems.
In fact, plasma air purification technology manages to reduce the presence of dust and neutralise pollutants in the air, disinfecting bacteria and eliminating potentially harmful viruses, without using or releasing chemicals.
HIGHLIGHTED :
The PST Clima cassette hydronic units mod. PS-CLI and PS-CLP have an AISI 304 stainless steel higher frame internally coated with an internal insulation and with anti-allergic, anti-condensation and soundproofing aluminium sleeve.
The unit includes a 2, 3 or 4 row finned coil exchanger, while the PS-CLP version provides in addition a cataphoresis treatment to prevent oxidation in corrosive environments.
The air flow is controlled by fins positioned on four symmetrical outlets of the metal panel and the diffused air is treated with a class G3 filter according to the requirements of the VDI regulations. A differential air pressure switch is also available on request to provide a dirty filter alarm.
